Vett Trans (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

Vett Trans – the transport and logistic company working at the Russian market since 1998. The company is engaged in internal and international cargo transportation, performs functions of the customs broker, provides services of safe custody of goods. The first warehouse of safe custody of Vett Trans was automated by AXELOT in 2005. In 2008 the company rented the second warehouse in the Moscow region. For development and deployment of the accounting system based on "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse" according to requirements of the new bailor specialists of AXELOT were again invited.

One of world famous producers of buses became the client of the second warehouse "Vett Trans". Specifics of goods, seasonality of demand and other reasons allowed to implement a system in standard and extremely economic option with the minimum completions. At the same time special attention during the project was paid to preparation of the complex reporting which Vett Trans had to conduct according to the agreement with the client.

The new warehouse is equipped with multilevel racks; for a part of goods floor storage is used. The nomenclature list contains 2000 active positions. In a warehouse transaction of an oshipovka of buses which is also subject to accounting in the automation system is in addition executed.

Before the project specialists of AXELOT made collecting and formalization of requirements to the automation system of a warehouse of the Customer. The list of organizational and technical works was by results made and the labor input of the project is defined. Directly the project on development and deployment of the accounting system in the warehouse "Vett Trans" was begun on June 4, 2008 and was complete on September 26, 2008. From the Customer the deputy chief of a warehouse complex, the system administrator and the operator of a warehouse took part in the project. The contractor was represented by the project manager who was at the same time performing functions of the consultant for automation of a warehouse and the programmer.

During the project all main warehouse transactions and also operation on an oshipovka of buses were automated, accounting of the nomenclature by numbers of the cargo customs declarations (CCD), invoices, numbers of vehicles is adjusted. New reports (daily and monthly) on arrivals and expenses and the reports calculating the cost of services of safe custody according to requirements of the bailor are in addition developed. Mechanisms of loading of a remaining balance, nomenclatures, tasks for shipment are also created from external files of a corporate information system of the client of Vett Trans – 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management.

As a result of system implementation of accounting, "1C Logistics developed based on the standard solution: Management of a warehouse", one of key tasks is solved – reports on the basis of which settlement between Vett Trans and the bailor is made are created and also data of the warehouse accounting system with data of CIS of the client are verified. In a warehouse the number of actions of the operator at execution of operations is minimized, the due accuracy of accounting is provided.
