ELTRANS Plus (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

The ELTRANS plus company is founded in 2000 and since 2003 performs the activity as the customs broker. The company renders services in complex support of projects of foreign economic activity, including the international cargo transportation, delivery of the national teams and an avia of loads and warehouse service. At the moment ELTRANS plus has branches in 10 cities of Russia and on 1 representation in Poland and Germany.

One of warehouses of safe custody of ELTRANS plus company is located in Shcherbinka situated near Moscow. In 2007 before the enterprise there was a task to replace the warehouse management system which is not meeting his growing requirements with more modern. The task became complicated need to execute transition to the new software solution to most deadlines in this connection implementation of a system with standard functionality for minimization of possible completions was required. Among the solutions for automation of a warehouse presented at the market preference was given to the program "by 1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse", the most full meeting current demands of the enterprise; the AXELOT Logistics company having considerable experience in project implementation of automation of warehouse logistics became the contractor of the project.

The area of a warehouse of ELTRANS plus in Shcherbinka – 6200 sq.m., height – 7.5 m. In a warehouse there are 7000 pallets, in the nomenclature list about 1500 active positions are registered. The project of automation was begun on June 13 and complete on July 30, 2007. The party of the Customer was represented by the project manager and the deputy CEO for warehouse logistics; from the Contractor the programmer and the project manager took part in the project.

In the specified terms standard system configuration "was implemented by 1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse": the main warehouse transactions on acceptance, placement and shipment are automated; insignificant completions of functionality made possible accounting of goods by storage lives and a container. In a project deliverable 5 jobs, from them 3 operator, 1 workplace of the warehouse supervisor and 1 – the administrator are automated.

After automation system implementation to ELTRANS plus there went already enough time in order that it was possible to speak about explicit and stable improvement of work of a warehouse: considerably accounting accuracy increased, with higher speed operations of selection and placement of goods are performed, the dependence on personnel, etc. decreased. All indicators demonstrate increase in the service level of clients in a warehouse of safe custody.
