North Caucasian logistic enterprise (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

North Caucasian Logistic Enterprise (NCLE) LLC located in Rostov-on-Don is founded in 1972 as the biggest warehouse distribution center of Consumer cooperation of the USSR in the North Caucasus. Now the enterprise is positioned as the logistic center, largest in the Rostov region, rendering services to the wholesale enterprises for storage and warehouse service of material values.

In 2005 "SKLP" was completely reconstructed: in premises bespylevy floors are laid, warehouse spaces are equipped with universal racks and the high-rise loading equipment, the accounting system in a warehouse is implemented. The management of the enterprise according to plans for its development made the decision on equipment of a warehouse more modern management system. Automation of calculation of the services rendered on a commercial basis to bailors for the purpose of service quality improvement became one of the most relevant tasks of the forthcoming project. With implementation of an automated system the enterprise also expected decrease in number of errors at selection of goods taking into account terms of their validity. From all automated solutions for warehouse logistics of "SKLP" presented at the market stopped the choice on the program "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse" that first of all was connected with availability of the solution and its demand in the Russian market. Two boxes of the enterprise were automated using the second edition released in March, 2005 "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse". In January, 2008 there was new, the third, the version of the solution using advantages of a technology platform of 1C: Enterprise 8.1 and considerably different from the previous edition on functionality and performance. Having estimated possibilities of new edition, "SKLP" made the decision on implementation on new subject of this version and attraction for implementation of AXELOT company.

Warehousing capacit of SKLP company make more than 20,000 sq.m of the heated warehouse spaces equipped with the covered automobile and railway cargo stages, more than 2,000 sq.m of the cooled areas, more than 2,500 sq.m of office spaces. One of boxes of a warehouse complex represents the one-storey building with height of ceilings of 7 m and of 1200 sq.m. The warehouse is equipped with some gate through which acceptance and shipment of goods is conducted. In a warehouse pallet storage is used; there are about 1500 active positions of goods. On average on a warehouse about 70 orders a day arrive, contains in each of which up to 30 goods items; daily employees of a warehouse perform about 8 goods acceptances, a pallet with a total amount up to 250.

In this box of the party started automation system implementation on November 12, 2007. The team of the Customer on the project was provided by the development director and IT (the curator of the project), the head of department of IT (project manager) and the head of logistics. From AXELOT the system architect, the programmer, the consultant and the project manager who was also performing functions of the consultant participated in the project. On March 28, 2008 the project of automation of a warehouse complex based on "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" it was successfully complete.

During the project 2 attendant workstations, jobs of the logistician and warehouse supervisor are automated. As a result of implementation "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" all key warehouse transactions are automated: "Acceptance", Placement, Internal transfer, Feed, Selection, Shipment, Inventory and Packaging. In a system account of goods by expiration dates, batches of acceptance and batches of the producer is kept. The specific algorithm of selection allowing to execute selection of goods on expiration dates taking into account percentage thresholds of exceeding of the expiration dates set for partners and also the algorithm minimizing requirement of formation of the national teams a pallet as a result of selection is implemented. Loading of orders for acceptance and shipment from an information system of the bailor is implemented. The warehouse management system executes calculation of services of safe custody and provides data on paid services in 8 reports, according to customer requirements.

Miroshnichenko Vadim Yuryevich, the development director and IT of SKLP LLC, is satisfied with project deliverables: "Joint work of AXELOT and "North Caucasian Logistic Enterprise" companies took place in full accordance with the calendar scheduled plan of the project. We expect to continue cooperation: the plans of "SKLP" are start in a warehouse of technology of barcoding and use of radio data collection terminals. The solution based on "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0", with success implemented in a warehouse of safe custody, is planned to replication in other warehouses of SKLP LLC".
