2025: Pegasus Airlines bought Czech Airlines for €154m
In December 2025, the Turkish company Pegasus Airlines (PGSUS.IS), in a statement published on the KAP platform of the Istanbul Stock Exchange, announced that it had entered into a deal with Prague City Air to purchase its shares in Czech Airlines (CSA), Smartwings and subsidiaries for a total amount of €154 million ($180 million) in order to enter the global market.[1]
