2025: Organization of tactile hatching

Within the framework of the project "Language of Sculpture by Braille," the State Tretyakov Gallery opened the tactile exhibition "Breath of Bronze. Sculpture of Boris the Devil. " The exposition is dedicated to the International Day of People with Disabilities. LANIT became a technical partner of the project and announced this on December 8, 2025.

The exhibition presents about 50 works of the Russian sculptor, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. It will be open to the public until May 2026 in the building of the Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val. Almost all exhibits can be explored tactilely, making them accessible to blind and visually impaired visitors.

For us, this project unites several important areas at once - museum, inclusive and technological. We see our task in ensuring that modern technologies help people with disabilities get a full-fledged cultural experience, and museums become truly open and accessible to everyone,
said Natalia Cherkasova, head of social projects at LANIT.

The exhibition presents works created at different periods of the sculptor's life: from early works interpreting images of archaic art to the last project - author's reading of biblical texts. The exposition is supplemented with audio content - memories of the artist's friends, literary texts and musical fragments.

We continue to cooperate with the Tretyakov Gallery: earlier we acted as a technical partner of the project "1418 days. To the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. " In this project, interaction with visitors is facilitated by integrated monophones - special audio etiquettes that are used to tell about three sections of the exhibition - "Workshop," "Bronze Age" and "Apology." These devices also provide the soundtrack of the most complex and symbolic exhibits. Thus, technology enhances the perception of art and makes the exhibition accessible to all,
noted Sergey Fateev, project manager for the construction of the Tretyakov Gallery building on Kadashevskaya embankment ("LANIT-Integration").

Visitors to the exhibition will also be able to see tools from the workshop of Boris the Devil, hold them in their hands, try to create a frame for sculpture or get drunk from special plasticine. The program includes inclusive excursions, practical modeling classes for visually impaired and blind schoolchildren and adults, as well as "tactile excursions" accompanied by a blind guide.
