2025: Data Center Construction
A data center was built in Donetsk for the development of digital and creative projects. The project was implemented at the site of the Center for Creative Industries. This was announced in December 2025 by the head of the "My Business" center in the republic, Liubov Lugovaya.
According to her, the infrastructure facility is equipped with high-performance server equipment and powerful computers. The purchase of equipment was carried out thanks to federal support funds. The data center will provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to rent computing power - server cells. In addition to server capacity, the infrastructure of the Center for Creative Industries involves a studio for the production of Jalinga video content and a professional recording studio. Also, according to Lugovaya, software for working with artificial intelligence and 3D printers for creating volume models are being purchased.
Liubov Lugovaya also explained that creative industries unite various areas: video and audio content production, design, fashion, gastronomy and information technology. The modern equipment of the center is designed to provide specialists in these areas with the necessary tools.
The creation of the center is part of a comprehensive program to support entrepreneurship in the region. According to TASS, since September 2023, the Fund for Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Businesses has been operating in the DPR, and in December of the same year, the My Business Center began work.
The launch of a recruiting center was also planned for 2025 to help businesses in the selection of personnel. As reported by the DAN agency, as part of the preparation, a survey of entrepreneurs was carried out to identify the needs for specialists and a database of resumes of graduates of educational institutions was formed.[1][2]
