"Golden Apple" introduces the function of cashless tips into the mobile application. As early as December 2025, customers satisfied with the delivery can leave tips to couriers, it is planned to launch tips for cashiers and consultants. The company announced this on December 9, 2025.
In the first half of 2025, the company's support service received many online requests from customers with a request to thank couriers and store employees who showed a high level of service. A similar request is regularly recorded offline - buyers often tried to give gratitude in cash or goods, which does not correspond to modern digital practices. Now you can send a tip through the application immediately after purchase.
After an online or offline purchase, the user opens a modal window, where the employees who served the order are displayed. The client can choose one or more performers and leave a tip in the amount of 50 to 5000 rubles. Tips are credited to the employee on the card within five minutes.
Employees can choose the target they save for and change it at any time. Target options are provided by the partner through whom the tip is processed. "Copy on a dream" is the default value and is most common. You can leave a tip within seven days of purchase. In 2026, the functionality will appear in the list of orders in your personal account.
Payment is carried out through bank cards saved in the application, in the near future payment will be available through the SBP. All transactions go through the same secure protocols as regular purchases. When leaving a tip, the user is shown a processing fee - this is a fee to an external payment partner, and not to the retailer itself. "Golden Apple" does not hold interest: the entire amount of tips is fully received by the employee. The commission is visible in advance, and most customers prefer to cover it on their own. Tips are transferred anonymously - the employee does not see which client and for what order the amount was sent.
For the company, this is a non-profit project. The launch of cashless tips increases the NPS level of retail workers and couriers, strengthens their incentive to offer Golden Apple customers the best service. And customers, if they want to and can, can say "thank you" for a truly excellent service. Business does not make money on this, but receives something more valuable in the long term: the growth of the level of customer service, the development of a culture of mutual respect and care between employees and buyers.
