2025: Sibzoloto bought Prostokishenka from Uralelectromed
In December 2025, it became known that the Uralelectromed company, which is part of the UMMC, sold the structure of the Sibzoloto holding company Prostokishenka, which owns a license to develop the Bolshaya Prostokishenka platinum deposit in the Sverdlovsk Region. Experts estimate the cost of acquisition in the range of 2-10 million rubles, which is significantly lower than the necessary investments in the development of the field, which, according to estimates, range from 150 to 250 million rubles. Platinum reserves at the site were estimated at 419 kg as of 2011, and production in 2015 amounted to 13.6 kg.[1]
