2025: Suspended sentence for embezzlement of millions of rubles in trials of a cancer drug
A court in St. Petersburg sentenced to suspended sentences the defendants in the criminal case on multimillion-dollar embezzlement during trials of an innovative cancer drug in 2021. Among the convicts is a professor at ITMO University Vladimir Vinogradov. This was announced in December 2025 in the joint press service of the city courts. The court sentenced Vinogradov to four years in prison conditionally.
