The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of February 15, 2026 to local blogger Roman Kachanov (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent), accused of mastering grants from foreign organizations recognized as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation: the Norwegian Helsinki Committee and the National Endowment for Democracy.
