2024: Doorphone imports to Russia decreased by 5% over the year to 0.79 million units

The import of intercoms to Russia decreased by 5% in 2025 and amounted to 0.79 million units. This is evidenced by data from the analytical company BusinesStat, published in December 2025.

In 2021, the import of intercoms to Russia amounted to 1.68 million units. In 2022, there was a decrease of 24% to 1.28 million units. In 2023, deliveries increased by 25% and reached 1.61 million units. In 2024, a sharp drop of 48% to 0.83 million units was recorded. In 2025, the decline continued, but at a more moderate pace - by 5% to 0.79 million units.

The largest manufacturers of intercoms in Russia are:

• LLC "Device Plant";
• Eltis Trading LLC;
• LLC "NPO" Visit "named after V.F. Potnikov."

For the period from 2024 to 2025, the import of intercoms decreased by 51%. The key factors in the decline in supplies were a slowdown in the pace of new construction, a decrease in investment and consumer activity, as well as the expansion of domestic production of intercoms.

The intercom market in Russia largely depends on the supply of foreign equipment, technologies and components. A significant part of the products is imported from China. Sanctions pressure and logistical difficulties stimulated the reorientation of the industry to domestic production.

As part of the import substitution course, the country is developing its own production of various intercom systems. The production of devices and services is being localized. The authorities provide support to hardware manufacturers and developers of smart home security systems that integrate access control devices.^[1]
