2025: Implementation of the "Console" system
Microtek has completed the introduction of the Remote Monitoring System, an improved domestic analogue of Zabbix from the Numerator Laboratory. As part of the project, teams of companies built monitoring of communication channels from scratch, completely abandoning the previously used disparate approach. The Numerator Laboratory announced this on December 17, 2025.
Before the introduction of the "Console" in "Microtek" there was no centralized monitoring system and uniform standards for monitoring infrastructure. Individual engineers solved local problems using the open source platform Zabbix, which did not allow forming a holistic picture of the state of the network and providing a single level of control.
Customers of Microtek needed to regularly receive reliable information about the state of communication channels. Therefore, one of the key factors when choosing the Console system was a developed reporting module, which was not enough in the previously used solution.
Based on the built-in module, the project team has finalized the format of reports for monitoring the quality of communication services for customers. This made it possible to track key metrics, including information about the object and carrier, the availability and time of unavailable channels, average delays in transmitting packets and their fluctuations, the percentage of packet losses, the speed of communication channels, maximum jitter and other indicators.
As of December 2025, the Console provides monitoring of the quality of communication channels for 363 facilities throughout Russia, including network equipment and customer endpoints.
| We did not have full monitoring, and customer reporting requirements pushed us to find a mature and reliable solution, "said Nikita Pavlov, CEO of Microtek. "We needed a tool with a built-in reporting module, and the Remote Control completely closed this task. Now we can quickly provide customers with high-quality analytics about the state of their communication channels. |
| The project with Microtek is an example of a scenario when the selection of the Console system is not related to import substitution. Now, thanks to the extensible reporting module, customer engineers can create the necessary reports in a few clicks and transmit them to customers, - said Dmitry Untila, CPO "Remote Control." |
