IT education in Buryatia will be built on the products of Astra Group

2025: Agreement to establish and conduct educational courses, programs and projects

ANO Astra Academy (part of the Astra Group) and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Buryatia signed a cooperation agreement. The parties were represented at the signing by the executive director of the Astra Academy Alexandra Aleshkova and the Minister of Education and Science of the region Valery Pozdnyakov. Astra announced this on December 19, 2025.

In an effort to increase the research, expert and analytical potential in the IT field, the developer and department agreed to organize consultations and exchange of experience in order to best build the educational process with application. In addition, it is planned to pay attention to the key aspects of the implementation of curricula, to conduct analytical work together and to participate in seminars, conferences and other scientific and practical events on import-independent products.

Everyone clearly sees how important it is to have your own technologies and be able to use them correctly, because it is these knowledge and skills that will form the basis for the further development of the economy. Our team will help teachers and students of Buryatia to master relevant domestic software solutions. We plan to hold webinars for teachers on Astra Linux and the My Office application package. After that, on our educational portal, they themselves will be able to take courses for users and administrators, and in the second quarter of 2026, training will be held on the basics of working with MyOffice software. At the same time, my colleagues and I would like to join the offline-oriented activities of the region related to information security and import substitution. And, of course, we will help Buryat schoolchildren and students participate in international Olympiads, such as "Trajectory of the Future" and "IT-Planet."
