2025: Passing IATF Level Certification 16949

The Ural Group of Companies on December 22, 2025 on achieving national importance: the Gagarin Ural Plant production site became the only manufacturer of acoustics and auto acoustics in Russia that passed a certification audit for compliance with GOST R 58139-2018 - the Russian equivalent of the international standard IATF 16949.

Production volume: from 2.5 million to 90 million units - the plan of the technological cycle.

As of December 2025, Gagarin Ural Zavod produces 2.5 million speakers annually. The purchase and installation of a new fully automatic production line will increase the current volume, and reaching the level of up to 90 million units per year is possible only when the enterprise is equipped with about 12 automatic lines that correspond to industry performance indicators.

This will meet the needs of:

• Russian auto industry,
• secondary market of the Russian Federation,
• CIS markets and the whole world,
• import substitution programs,
• global OEM and ODM projects.

In December 2024, a semi-automatic line for the production of auto acoustics was introduced at the plant.

In one year, a quality management system was created and debugged that meets the requirements of international automakers.

In 2025, the company localized the release of key components:

• sound coils,
• diffusers,
• centering washers.

GOST R 58139-2018/IATF 16949 is:

• zero tolerance for production defects,
• strict traceability,
• process stability,
• readiness for deliveries to the conveyors of automobile plants.

Production "Gagarin Ural Plant" now meets these requirements.

At the end of November 2025, the plant passed an audit of the buyer - AvtoVAZ JSC - according to the ASES standard.

Successful passage opens up access to new projects and will allow localizing a whole range of automotive audio components at the Ural production site.

Successful certification and the upcoming expansion to 90 million units per year (with the deployment of about 12 production lines) strengthen the position of Ural.
