2025: Completion of As-Built Documentation Digitalization
The company Metalloinvest"" together JSA Group with completed the project on the digitalization of as-built documentation (ID) at the Lebedinsky GOK Mikhailovsky GOK Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant. JSA Group announced this on December 2, 2025. Now all processes of creation, coordination and storage of IDs are carried out in a common environment data Pilot-BIM using a special module developed by JSA Group.
| If earlier as-built documentation was formed and coordinated in the traditional way - on paper, and then scanned and stored in shop archives, now all coordination and storage processes are implemented in the format of a single window in the corporate digital environment. Documents are created in digital format, approved and stored in a single space accessible to all interested parties involved in the construction and subsequent operation of the built facility. This approach makes the process transparent and allows us to focus on the essence of the project, and not on routine, "said Viktor Shulzhenok, Director of the Metalloinvest Design and Construction Department. |
The decision made it possible to combine the management company, enterprises, design institutes and general contractors into a single information space for working with the ID. This significantly reduced the amount of work with paper documentation and simplified the interaction of construction participants.
The created module supports the generation of general and special work logs, hidden work inspection certificates and other documents in the Pilot-BIM system. The basic capabilities of Pilot-BIM made it possible to develop the necessary analytical forms, as well as store and agree on electronic documents by ID.
An important advantage was that new processes were implemented within the current system - without the use of a separate solution and time-consuming integration. In the future, it is planned to connect the digital ID with the Mobile Stroy Control systems and the Project Management System.
| We are pleased with the first results, since the project was implemented in a short time and with minimal labor costs (without additional systems, in the existing environment of general data), but at the same time allowed to logically complete the chain of PD - RD - ID and think about the processes of transfer to operation and operational documentation. |
