2025: MGC Group buys automobile component plants in Leningrad and Volga region from Grupo Antolin
The Russian auto component group MGC acquired two enterprises Vsevolozhsk Leningrad Region Nizhny Novgorod for the production of interior elements for cars in and, previously owned by the Spanish Grupo Antolin. This became known on December 24, 2025.
According to Interfax, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, on December 23, 2025, Em G C Group LLC became the owner of 100% of the Vsevolozhsk Alta North-West LLC and Nizhny Novgorod Alta Volga Region LLC. Before the renaming, the enterprises were called Antolin St. Petersburg Group LLC and Grupo Antolin Nizhny Novgorod LLC, respectively.
Both businesses have in the past been owned by Spanish group Antolin, which specialises in car interior elements. The factories have been operating for more than 10 years and produce ceiling blocks, door panels, windows and interior cladding elements. The products were supplied to Russian manufacturers Hyundai, Ford, Renault, Volkswagen, Skoda, Toyota, Peugeot-Citroen and other automakers.
The revenue of the Vsevolozhsk site in pre-sanction 2021 was at the level of ₽1,4 billion with a net profit of ₽36,6 million. In 2022, when the financial results of the automotive sector collapsed with the departure of foreign manufacturers, revenue fell to ₽319 million with a net loss of ₽555,6 million. In 2023-2024, the company reflected a small profit with a turnover of a maximum of ₽120,5 million.
The Nizhny Novgorod enterprise demonstrated a more modest scale of activity. In 2021, the plant had revenue of ₽528,2 million with a symbolic net loss of ₽1,4 million. In 2022, the indicators amounted to ₽231,3 million revenue with a loss of ₽145,7 million. In 2024, the company recorded ₽382 million in revenue and a net profit of ₽10 million.
The MGC Group did not acquire Antolin plants directly from the Spanish owner. The deal went through the leasing company Delta of Krasnoyarsk businessman Vasily German. Delta, according to the register, bought these assets from the Spaniards in March 2023.[1]
