In a series of the new products Avaya Aura Branch the new gateway for the companies of small or medium business which allows to adapt the used technologies of communications (H.323, PRI, etc.) for support of infrastructure based on the SIP protocol on a single platform is provided. The gateway Avaya B5800 Branch Gateway supports up to 350 users in each division, gives a number of standard and enhanced opportunities and supports the following scenarios of implementation:

  • the centralized environment with the applications expanded and managed from the main infrastructure of Avaya Aura;
  • distributed environment with local management of communications system and delivery of applications, but with the centralized control system;
  • the mixed environment with the local and centralized applications.

The updated solution Avaya Aura Solution for Midsize Enterprise 6.1 for the companies numbering staff from 250 to 1000 people allows to concentrate the Avaya Aura applications on one virtual server for fast installation, setup and management, cost reduction and increase in energy efficiency. The following components are a part of the solution:

  • the Avaya Aura Session Manager application for control of all end devices working in infrastructure of SIP;
  • the Avaya Aura Presence application for information exchange about availability of employees between Avaya devices and devices of other producers; * solution Avaya Aura Session Border Controller;
  • support of expanded platforms for joint work, including Avaya Flare Experience based on Avaya Desktop Video Device and Avaya Video Conferencing.
  • The solution Aura ME 6.1 is based on the uniform virtualized NR-server. It is expected service from 250 to 1000 users and provides control of all SIP terminals, a possibility of intermediate inclusion between applications of other suppliers, protection of connections between SIP-and IP devices, smartphones and applications (on both sides of the firewall) and support of Avaya Flare Experience with a possibility of carrying out video conferences.
