2025: Moving 100% of infrastructure to the cloud Cloud.ru
The repair and service network in the St. Petersburg market "Lenremont" transferred 100% of the infrastructure to the cloud Cloud.ru. The migration was implemented in partnership with enterprise IT developer and integrator Aiston. As a result, the company reduced the time for servicing IT services by five times and doubled the number and speed of releases. This was announced by Cloud.ru on December 24, 2025.
Lenremont was looking for a secure cloud solution that would minimize the risks of IT system downtime and ensure stable service operation. To conduct a comprehensive audit and choose a cloud provider, the company applied for Aiston services. After a detailed assessment of the current state and the identification of weaknesses, the Aiston team suggested considering the transition to the cloud platform Cloud.ru.
Among the main problems that the technical assessment revealed is the dependence on the previous contractor who managed the infrastructure of the workshop network. In the event of technical failures, access to critical data and services was at risk. In addition, the company did not use network traffic management tools, which made IT services vulnerable with a sharp increase in requests, as well as systems for protecting data in the cloud, for example, DDoS protection and multifactorial access control.
The key steps to migrate the Lenremont infrastructure to Cloud.ru were the configuration of the IPSec VPN tunnel between on-premium and the VPC network for a secure Site-to-Site connection, the deployment of Gitlab with Terraform-based CI/CD-pipes for automated provisioning of more than 40 virtual machines through the Cloud.ru API. Also connected high-speed SSDs for storing and aggregating logs. Thanks to the Cloud.ru cloud, the company has regained full control over critical data and services, ensuring reliability and fault tolerance.
The transfer of infrastructure to the Cloud.ru cloud made it possible to achieve fault tolerance of the infrastructure at the level of 99.982% and increase the availability of key services (CRM system, site, SIP telephony) from 98.4% to 99.99%. The number of computer incidents after migration has decreased by four times, and the speed of their processing - by five times, from 10 to 2 hours.
