2026: Appointment as Director of Pushkin Museum
Director of the Tretyakov Gallery Elena Pronicheva resigned of her own free will and was appointed head of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. The new director replaced Olga Galaktionova in this post. This was announced in January 2026 by the Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova. Pronicheva headed the Tretyakov Gallery from February 8, 2023.
