"Kazan track Center" was implemented by EDMS "Euphrates"

In Kazan Track Center company system implementation of electronic document management (EDMS) Euphrates is complete. For project implementation at the system developer — Cognitive Technologies company — the license for simultaneous operation of 50 users was purchased. Installation and tuning of a system were performed by specialists of Kazan Track Center company. As DBMS the Microsoft SQL Server is used.

"Kazan track Center" is the Russian company implementing the European trucks, semi-trailers and buses and also providing a full range of services for foreign commercial vehicles. Now "Kazan Track Center" has branched structure of car centers in different regions of Russia. For acceleration of document flow in the growing branch network and increase in efficiency of control over task performance IT department "Kazan Track Center" suggested to implement EDMS. After assessment of several automation systems of document flow presented at the Russian market EDMS "Euphrates" was selected. The developed functionality and a user-friendly interface of a system and also its scalability and the affordable price, says Cognitive Technologies became the pacing factors which defined this solution.

Implementation of EDMS "Euphrates" in "Kazan Track Center" took place in three stages. At the first stage specialists of the company made technical specifications according to which setup of a system was performed. After that EDMS underwent trial operation during which test setup was carried out. At the third stage future users were trained in Cognitive Technologies Training center then a system was brought into commercial operation.

Now using EDMS "Euphrates" all official document flow of Kazan Track Center company, including the entering and outgoing correspondence, accounts, requests, memos, requests for maintenance and other documents is automated. About 80 people became users of a system.

"The Euphrates system proved to be a flexible and reliable solution that allowed to set and configure it without involvement of developer company — Kiselyov Evgeny, the head of department of automation of Kazan Track Center company reported. — After start of a system in commercial operation time of approval of documents at the central office of the company was reduced by 2-2.5 times, and between the main office and branches — approximately by 5 times. Besides, cases of loss of documents were excluded. In the future we are going to develop a system further".
