2025: Equipping dispatchers with aircraft with uninterrupted communication equipment

Azimuth has installed voice communication, recording and reproduction systems VCS 2700 and CDR 2700 at the Sochisistems airport. The equipment will provide operational communication between dispatchers and crews and airfield services. There will also be round-the-clock recording of operational information and data from surveillance systems. This equipment will increase flight safety, reduce costs and increase the capacity of one of the country's major air hubs. Rostec announced this on January 15, 2026.

The company carried out the installation and adjustment of equipment as part of the re-equipment of the airport command and control center. Based on the results of tests, the products confirmed compliance with the declared characteristics and are ready for commissioning.

The VCS 2700 switching system provides operational communication between dispatchers and aircraft crews, air services and air traffic management agencies (ATMs). It is fault tolerant, flexible, and scalable. This allows it to be used both in small airports and in enlarged regional centers.

CDR 2700 is used to register voice messages over radio, telephone and public address. The equipment is also used to record planned and meteorological information, data from surveillance systems and other data stored on hard drives and removable media. Information recorded in audio, video and text format can be reproduced synchronously. There are no elements in the system, the failure of which leads to the failure of the BDVI as a whole, which makes it more reliable and avoids failures.

Airports and air carriers, as well as ATM authorities and air navigation service providers are interested in increasing airspace capacity. The priority - also improving flight safety, reducing aircraft downtime, and reducing fuel costs. Azimut, as a developer of air navigation systems and complexes for equipping airfields in the contour of Rostec State Corporation, helps all participants in the aviation market achieve these goals. The equipment supplied by the company has confirmed its reliability and fault tolerance. This is especially important for the airport of our resort capital, - commented Alexey Galchenkov, Deputy General Director of Azimut.
