2026: Launch of "Auto Parts Barometer"
ROSSKO, a distributor of auto parts in Russia, on January 21, 2026 announced the launch of its own analytical platform - "Barometer of auto parts." It is a quarterly index reflecting real changes in prices, affordability and auto parts market structure across the country.
The project is based on big data analysis: sales statistics, logistics, assortment and behavior of ROSSKO customers - from service stations and stores to motorists. The geography of the study covers all key regions of Russia.
What the "Barometer of Auto Parts" shows
The index allows you to track in dynamics:
- changing prices for the main categories of auto parts;
- ratio of original parts and analogues;
- availability of components by region;
- market transformation in comparison with the pre-crisis period;
- short and medium-term forecasts for key commodity groups.
A separate block of analytics is devoted to the consequences of the departure of international brands, the growth of the share of Asian and Russian manufacturers, as well as the impact of logistics and currency factors on the final cost of spare parts.
| The auto parts market is sorely lacking in transparent and regular benchmarks. We see a lot of disparate estimates, but little data that relies on real market statistics. The "barometer of auto parts" is an attempt to fix an objective picture: what happens to prices, which categories are becoming more expensive faster, where there is a shortage, and where the market has already stabilized, "said Timur Tursunov, head of analytics at ROSSKO. |
According to the expert, the index will become a working tool not only for the media, but also for car services, suppliers, insurance companies and end car owners.
{{quote 'We plan to publish the data quarterly so that market participants can not guess, but rely on the numbers, - said Timur Tursunov. }}
In the future, ROSSKO plans to expand the "Barometer of Auto Parts," adding:
- regional indices;
- separate reports by categories (brakes, suspension, oils, electrics);
- forecast scenarios for STO and B2B segment.
The company expects the platform to become the industry standard of analytics and the main source of data for many industries, including the media.
