2026: Transactions exceeded $100 billion for the year

The total volume of ruble stablecoin transactions A7A5 for the year amounted to more than $100 billion. At the same time, about 250 thousand transactions were made from 41.3 thousand different accounts. Such data on January 22, 2026 was published by the British company Elliptic, which analyzes blockchain technologies.

A7A5 is a stablecoin launched in January 2025 and tied to the Russian ruble 1:1. The issuer of the A7A5 is the Kyrgyz company Old Vector LLC. It is alleged that stablecoin is provided with ruble deposits in banks and is issued in accordance with the state regulation of Kyrgyzstan.

Elliptic estimates that A7A5 's total trading volume reached $17.3 billion. The main trading pairs are A7A5/rubles with a result of $11.2 billion and A7A5/USDT with $6.1 billion. Tokens are A7A5 issued on Ethereum and TRON networks, which ensures complete transparency of all transactions.

It is noted that the number of operations with A7A5 began to grow rapidly in the fall of 2025. Then A7 announced the introduction of the possibility of buying a token from bank cards. As a result, the number of its holders increased from 14 thousand in July 2025 to 35.5 thousand by the beginning of 2026. Trading volumes are concentrated on three sites: the centralized cryptocurrency exchanges Grinex and Meer, located in Kyrgyzstan, and the decentralized exchange (DEX) A7A5.

With A7A5, you can receive passive income by simply holding it in your crypto wallet. Stablecoin can be exchanged for USDT or sold at the rate of 1:1 to the Russian ruble with withdrawal to a bank card. The target audience for the A7A5 is mainly in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) regions. It is emphasized that the US market is deliberately excluded due to regulatory restrictions and obstacles.[1]
