2026: Discovery

On January 24, 2026, in Yekaterinburg, in the building of the former Komsomoll shopping center, a new Badenland thermal complex was opened. 2.1 billion rubles were spent on the launch of the first stage of the complex, the total investment in the resort project is 4 billion.

According to the regional online publication "Е1.ру," the opened complex occupies two floors. Its capacity is up to 900 people at a time and up to 3,000 visitors per day.

On the ground floor, decorated in a tropical style, there is a reception area, a restaurant and a pool with an area of ​ ​ 1200 square meters. m The pool is equipped with a five-stage water treatment system, two large screens and a pool bar. The screen software provides for the rotation of visual content: in the daytime, a waterfall is broadcast, in the evening - an animation of fire lava.

A bar in the form of a bus and a cafe will operate next to the pool. On the ground floor there are also VIP areas in the form of wigwams, a children's spa area with animators and a panoramic sauna for aromatherapy procedures and trainings on women's health.

The second floor is made in the national Russian style. Its central object was the Bogatyr bathhouse with a capacity of up to 100 people. There are also several small steam rooms and a bar with a large samovar.

Inna Spinchevskaya, the manager of the complex, said that before the reconstruction began, engineering studies were carried out that confirmed the readiness of the building for transformations. According to the owner of Badenland, Yevgeny Kononov, the street pool will be open in two months.

According to "Е1.ру," the project is being implemented in three stages. The second and third stages are at the design stage. Full completion of all work is scheduled for the summer of 2027.^[1]
