Barix Annuncicom 155

The Swiss company Barix AG works in the field of technologies of audio delivery, paging, management systems and control on the basis of the IP protocol, in March, 2011 the company released the new device of the Annuncicom family intended for railway transport.

The Annuncicom 155 model is the network Intercom (the device for negotiations on network in a full duplex with an additional possibility of transfer of previously written sound messages) in industrial execution for high-quality audio delivery, disturbing messages and data on statuses of contacts on an Ethernet network allowing to create the reliable communication system on the vehicle. Annuncicom 155 conforms to the fundamental transport standards, including EN50121 and EN50155.

Properties and possibilities of Annuncicom 155:

• 2 Ethernet ports with M12 connectors (female);
• the built-in switch for serial connection of devices;
• the serial interface RS-485 (with the M12 connector) with the power supply exit safety lock for external devices;
• the general DSub 15 pin connector (female) for connection of audiodevices and additional signals of input-output;
• input for the balance electret microphone with the managed supply voltage;
• the isolated balance linear audio output (max. 11dBm@600Ohm);
• the built-in 5-watt amplifier of a class D for use with passive audio the equipment, the managed audio output of 8 Ohms;
• built-in temperature sensor;
• the integrated Web server for management and configuring;
• work in a combination with other Barix Annuncicom-AMI as autonomous IP Intercom, IP a paging system or can be used as the independent device;
• net surfing under the Ethernet protocol with a speed of 10/100 Mbit/sec.;
• the class of protection against external influences of IP 65, is tested according to the standard of protection against mechanical influences of EN50155; • working temperature is from -40 °C to +70 °C;
• protection against blows and vibration.
