Dmitry Pritula was born in 1977.
Education
In 1999 he graduated from Moscow State Open University with a degree in management. In 2015, he received an MBA degree from the Higher School of Economics, specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Biography
Previously, Pritula worked at JSC First Freight Company, where he went from head of the department for work with coal industry enterprises to first deputy general director and member of the board; oversaw the operation of the production commercial unit.
2018-2024
From 2018 to 2024 he was a member of the board of directors of Volga-Fleet JSC.
2026: Appointment as CEO of Volga Shipping Company
On January 13, 2026, Dmitry Pritula was appointed to the post of General Director of Volga Shipping Company JSC. In this position, he replaced Pavel Vinogradov, who headed the enterprise since September 2022.
Pritula moved to the Volga Shipping Company from the position of General Director of Transport Technologies LLC. At the new place of work, he will focus on strengthening the key areas of development of the Volga Shipping Company, which include updating and modernizing the fleet, improving business efficiency and customer service quality, managing the personnel reserve, as well as implementing a number of strategic projects. It is emphasized that Pritula is familiar with the industry specifics and principles of corporate governance.
Volga Shipping Company is one of the largest Russian shipping companies in the field of river freight and river-sea transportation. Its clients include Russian and international metallurgical enterprises, timber concerns, fertilizer producers, grain companies, etc. Most of the transportation is carried out on the basis of long-term contracts. The fleet is more than 140 ships.[1]
