The Federal Agency for Fishery signed the agreement on development of the strategy of development for information technologies of the agency

The Armada company signed the public contract on execution of works according to the results of an open competition, for Federal Agency for Fishery, information technologies including development of the development strategy in the agency and the industry.

Objectives

The developed recommendations and strategy will include determination of the key directions of development of IT systems. Use of the open source in compliance by the government of the order approved recently "About transfer of federal executive authorities on use of the open source" No. 2299-r of December 17, 2010 will become one of the main elements of strategy. Also strategy will consider a problem of rendering state services in electronic form by the agency according to the current legislation, says Armada.

Development of strategy will be preceded by audit of IT resources during which Armada is going to specify a status of IT infrastructure of the agency, including its territorial subdivisions, for the purpose of determination of the current and perspective demands in automation of key business processes of department and increase in employee performance and divisions.
