DMTF - Distributed Management Task Force

The Board of Directors of DMTF includes 14 developer companies of the innovative technologies, including AMD, Broadcom Corporation, CA Technologies, Cisco, Citrix Systems, EMC, Fujitsu, HP, Huawei, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle and VMware. The scale of activity of DMTF allows the organization to create standards of interaction and management in the field of IT. Standards of management of DMTF are very important for ensuring interaction of systems, programs and the solutions of different producers used at one enterprise.

Standards and DMTF technologies meet the requirements of IT industry and also provide management and interaction of different platforms. DMTF member companies jointly develop industry standards for ensuring viability of investments into IT industries within next years by creation of cost-efficient solutions. Now DMTF concentrated the efforts in the field of "cloud" calculations and creation of virtual environment. The Working group on "cloud" calculations which activity is directed to development of standards in this sphere is engaged in it. Besides, DMTF continues to expand the global presence due to acceptance in the organization of new members – leading companies of IT industry worldwide.
