Zelax NMS (Network Management System)

Network Management System provides accomplishment of a full range of functions of the centralized monitoring of network on the basis of the SNMP protocol (Simple Network Management Protocol) and simplifying management of network functioning.

A system is held for use on the distributed network with a large number of remote devices. It allows to manage devices on a centralized basis instead of monitoring work of each of them separately. Before development of this system for simultaneous control of operation of the equipment Zelax supporting the SNMP protocol a third-party system was used that entered certain difficulties to work of users: it was required to select the suitable solution, considering its compatibility with the equipment Zelax.

The system of network management consists of two main parts: the program agent set on each structure of network, and the program manager set on the central processing computer. The program agent automatically collects state-of-health data of the device and with a certain frequency sends information to central node. The program manager integrates the data obtained from all programs agents and systematizes them, presenting in the convenient graphic form.

Thanks to the Zelax NMS system access to data on operability of all network equipment can be got in central node where the card of network is submitted. On the card the status of each of devices is in real time displayed: its availability at present, performances and also possible errors on the communication channels connected by means of this device.

The system of network management Zelax significantly reduces the amount of time necessary for condition monitoring of the equipment of network and also does operation of the equipment more convenient.
