2026: Version 6.0 with support for filling in interactive PDF forms

On February 18, 2026, Chi-Kvadrat presented an updated version of the XSQUARE REPORTS service for automatic formation of reporting documents. The release expands the ability to work with different file formats and improves system performance.

XSQUARE REPORTS is one of the platform solutions for rapid development of applications and complex business systems. XSQUARE The product allows you to generate documents in DOCX, XLSX formats PDF and based on ready-made templates from office applications. Thanks to the use of REST API , the service is easy it is integrated to use in any IT system.

The main change to version 6.0 is to support filling in interactive PDF forms. Now the service can fill out ready-made forms with fields for entering data. This is relevant for organizations that work with standardized documents, such as statements, acts or declarations.

In addition, a query generator has been added. The tool helps developers to automatically create and validate service requests based on ready-made document templates, which significantly speeds up the integration of XSQUARE REPORTS with enterprise systems.

Significantly improved performance for large amounts of data. The service was able to upload more than a million lines to Excel, automatically overcoming the technical limitations of the format. The system itself creates the required number of sheets and distributes the data between them.

There is also support for dynamic creation of multi-page Excel documents without pre-prepared templates. Each data table is automatically placed on a separate sheet. This is useful for generating reports where the structure is not known in advance, such as a sales report with a separate tab for stores.

Diagnostic tools have been added - built-in conversion of documents to PDF to check the correct display and the function of automatically collecting all the necessary error information into a single archive. Instead of manually collecting logs and settings, the user can form a complete data package for technical support in one action.

In this version of XSQUARE REPORTS, we took into account the wishes of users who collected after the previous product update. The emphasis was on working with PDF forms, because many companies work with standard forms and still fill them out manually. Special attention was paid to performance.
