The joint project of Luxoft company and NPO Saturn started in 2009. Development and deployment of new set of the system applications intended for marketing and sales of products and a customer support of PowerJet, joint venture NPO Saturn (Russia) and Snecma companies, Safran Group (France) was a project objective.
The required solution which was developed by Luxoft company had to ensure functioning of thousands of internal and external users and also enhanced capabilities of interaction and information exchange, having integrated at the same time numerous legacy systems and solutions of third parties. Besides, the product should and to be was brought into operation during rather short time frame: within 15 months from the beginning of works.
The solution proposed by Luxoft included the following applications:
- corporate website,
- management system for accounts of users,
- authentication system,
- contract management system,
- the Internet portal for clients of the company,
- directory of spare parts,
- processing system of incidents.
With the new set of applications the PowerJet company received the uniform center of information on all the products and services available as for internal, and external users.
Results of joint work were mentioned at the highest level. The CEO of PowerJet during this period, Jean Paul Ebanga, estimated start of the new www.powerjet.aero website the following words: "Congratulations! You have done an outstanding job!" ("I Congratulate! You did outstanding work!").
