2026: Penalty for tax evasion

At the end of February 2026, the Moscow Arbitration Court issued a decision on the additional charge of taxes to Telecom-Device in the amount of more than 1 billion rubles. In addition, the organization was fined for tax evasion.

Telecom Device LLC is registered in Odintsovo near Moscow. The company is engaged in the supply of telecommunications equipment - including under government contracts. In particular, contracts were concluded with PJSC Rostelecom, under the terms of which Telecom-Device shipped solutions and components for fiber-optic systems. In total, the organization signed 315 state contracts worth more than 1.2 billion rubles.

According to TASS, referring to the court ruling, Telecom Device was brought to justice under paragraph 3 of Article 122 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation (non-payment or incomplete payment of tax amounts). The company was fined 428.37 million rubles. At the same time, the organization received additional VAT in the amount of 476.95 million rubles and income tax in the amount of approximately 708.2 million rubles. It is noted that the company tried to appeal this decision and did not agree with the conclusions of the tax authority.

Telecom-Device was founded on May 7, 2010 with an authorized capital of 20 thousand rubles. The main area of ​ ​ activity is scientific research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences. In addition, the organization can be engaged in the production of instrumentation and navigation devices and devices, optical devices, photo and film equipment, as well as the installation of industrial machines and equipment. Since May 2024, the management has been carried out by the liquidator Alexander Kirichenko, which, according to the Rusprofile.ru service, indicates the beginning of the termination procedure.^[1]
