The Kuybyshevazot enterprise implemented the ERP system of Oracle in 9 months at standard project duration about 2-3 years. It is good result, experts say if not to consider that the company prepared for the project with 2006 and earlier signed the contract with GMCS.

JSC Kuybyshevazot completed creation of a corporate system on the basis of Oracle E-Business Suite. The company implemented the full-scale version of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with a complete scope of production in extremely short time – 9 months.

The strategic objective of the project consisted in complete standardization and automation of the main business processes from accounting before purchases of raw materials and the equipment, as was made. IBS Borlas acted as integrator of the project.

As Vyacheslav Kovalyov commented, the head of department of DPC of Open Technologies company, Oracle E-Business Suite is the product similar to SAP R/3. "Projects based on these products are expected several years. As a rule, the first year - start of the pilot, second or third - adjustment of other business processes", - he told.

According to him, usually main problem consists that at our enterprises the processes which were outdate business which do not lay down on a system therefore the main time leaves on their reorganization and adjustment are used, and it can last about 2 years.

"Everything depends on "neglect" of the enterprise. I believe that in this, specific case, with it it was easier as similar management process was already adjusted, it also allowed to reduce sharply project terms", - he concluded.

Of course, for the separate taken Oracle "Kuybyshevazot" project achieved excellent results if not to take the fact that implementation of Oracle had to begin in 2006 into account.

Then the enterprise concluded the corresponding arrangements with GMCS integrator, works had to start in the first quarter 2006, but that then stopped implementation of these plans – it is not known. In such context if to consider process of system implementation not technology, and from decision-making and search of the contractor before achievement of result, on it 5 years were required.

As for the project executed by IBS, as specified TAdviser in Kuybyshevazot company, in the course of implementation of Oracle the used ERP system written specially under the enterprise was taken out of service early. Now it works in the history mode. The Bank-Client payment system is integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite.

Nine months really small term for Oracle projects. Participants explain achievement of such result with several factors. It is the approach to implementation admitted to Kuybyshevazot which included methodology of Oracle. Close attention to it and the involvement of management of Kuybyshevazot became the important success factor of the project,Oleg Garankin, the director of the department of business applications and technologies of Oracle of IBS company [[Garankin Oleg|]] considers.

Alexander Gerasimenko, the project manager from the customer managing external assets of JSC Kuybyshevazot added that the company has long-term plans of development of a corporate information system, among them, including, a possibility of use of Oracle Hyperion Planning.
