Core activity of TIMAKS Trading House is wholesale of products of deep freezing. The company locates a modern freezing warehouse with a capacity of 1500 europallets and the park of cars refrigerators for the product delivery to consumers in Moscow and other cities of Russia. The company also assists clients in installation of refrigerating appliances.

Among clients of the company there are largest supermarket chains, retail stores and catering establishments. In assortment of the offered products: seafood, meat and bird, vegetables, potatoes, bread, cakes and other confectionery, pizza, ice cream, ready dishes.

Need of system implementation of automation of a warehouse is dictated by a number of the problems connected taking into account goods expiration dates and also need of creation of address storage system of goods and obtaining operational data on a warehouse status. When choosing a system the TIMAKS company stopped on the joint solution of 1C Company and AXELOT company "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse". It was caused by aspiration of the enterprise not only to consider warehouse transactions, but also to manage fully them for increase in efficiency of all warehouse complex.

Earlier the accounting was carried out in the program of own development. The management of "TIMAKS" made the decision on change of a technology platform and system implementation of management of a warehouse based on 1C: Enterprise 8.0.

In the course of implementation specialists of TIMAKS company used services of consultants of AXELOT company in the field of the organization of activity of a warehouse that allowed to gain in a short time the best impression about the correct use of functionality of a product and, thanks to it, to avoid some methodological and technical issues during implementation.

On initial stage of implementation technology business processes of a warehouse were carefully studied and formalized, the correct parametrical setup of a system and the organization of handbook data is made. It allowed to use functionality of a system most effectively.

For acceleration of process of automation the decision to implement a system in the "facilitated" option was made, using "paper technology", and in the future gradually to pass to technology of barcoding using data collection terminals.

During the project the following business processes are automated:

  • order complete set;
  • shipment of goods;
  • inventory of goods.

A system allows:

  • estimate and manage efficiency of use of warehouse spaces;
  • organize storage of goods on volume and weight characteristics and storage lives;
  • minimize quantity of errors thanks to bar code identification;
  • optimize movements of goods in a warehouse;
  • reduce influences of a human factor;
  • define objective base for calculation of the salary to employees of a warehouse;
  • plan the state and number of employees of a warehouse.

According to Vladimir Bannikov, the project manager of TIMAKS company, system implementation allowed to increase considerably in a short time efficiency of a warehouse complex.
