Eurobook (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

The Evrokniga company performs retail, small - and wholesale trade and has the warehouse complex consisting of two premises at the order: the main warehouse where daily operations on acceptance and shipment of goods, and a warehouse of long storage of large batches of goods are made. With growth of the range of training materials and the number of orders there was a need as in automation of internal processes of work of the warehouse Evroknigi complex, and in optimization of data exchange between warehouses and the central office. For control automation the warehouse complex of the company used the software product "by 1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse", developed by AXELOT company which allows to solve the following problems effectively:

• optimization of use of warehouse spaces;
• reducing costs for warehousing;
• reduction of time expenditure by carrying out all warehouse transactions;
• effective job management of warehouse workers;
• reduction of quantity of wrong warehouse transactions;
• increase in accuracy of accounting of inventory items;
• reduction of the losses connected with damage of goods.

The new management system allows to break difficult warehouse procedures into the simplest technology transactions, providing at the same time extreme usability without any additional special knowledge and skills of personnel. As a result of implementation the problems which are most often arising in the warehouse "Evroknigi" were solved: insufficient speed of selection of orders for clients, errors in order placement, complexity of search of the groups of goods dispersed in a warehouse and many others.

The management system for a warehouse complex of Evrokniga company was designed, set and put into operation within one and a half months.
