Synergenta Group (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

The Synergenta group is engaged in wholesale and retail sale of a full range of high-quality consumer electronics and more than 100 brands are an official distributor. The range of the company contains more than 30,000 names and includes both miniature, and large-size goods.

With growth of number of orders and for the purpose of increase in efficiency of customer service and a company performance in general by the management of the enterprise made the decision on need of reorganization of work of a warehouse complex of Synergenta Group. It was clear that qualitatively new requirements are imposed to the modern distribution center, as by the processes happening in a warehouse and to the automated control system for warehouse transactions.

By the time of adoption of such solution the company had no own experience of project implementation on complex automation and re-equipment of the warehouse centers of such scale therefore involvement of third-party consultants became quite logical.

On the other hand, design and putting into operation of a new warehouse, but not modification and re-equipment already available, significantly reduced amount of works in all directions.

Thus, the project was necessary to start "from scratch", since a task of topology of a warehouse complex and finishing with implementation of the latest automation system using technology of barcoding.

Taking into consideration the fact that at head office of the company within the general information system of Synergenta Group the system of the programs "1C: Enterprise" already functioned, the decision to apply to automation of a warehouse complex the software product on the same platform was made. From all proposed solutions based on 1C: Enterprise IT specialists of Synergenta Group preferred a system "to 1C: Logistics: Management of a warehouse", developed by AXELOT company on a new technology platform of 1C: Enterprise 8.0 different from the previous version of a system, in particular, advanced functionality, higher performance and the innovation interface

It was initially clear that implementation will be beyond standard and there is a need of development of the additional functions of a system connected with features of business in Synergenta Group. The staff of AXELOT company created the additional subsystems allowing to use optimum warehouse spaces (more than 7000 sq.m.), to consider features of storage of goods. New systems capabilities harmoniously added functionality of the drawing solution.

Feature of the project on automation of a warehouse complex was as well the fact that all works needed to be carried out to extremely short time. From the beginning of inspection of an object before completion of testing and delivery of a warehouse in commercial operation there passed less than 2.5 months.

After system implementation of management of a warehouse Synergenta Group received convenient integrated solution with a possibility of simultaneous multi-user work. According to the vice president of Synergenta Group Gennady Kilyakov, "using a system "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse" in the first week of its operation the procedure of a complete set of customer orders considerably became simpler and its quality and clearness increased, the speed of selection of goods increased.
