Russian Logistic service (CargoSolution)

Elfor Soft completed the project on implementation of own industry solution of CargoSolution 2.0 in Russian Logistic Service Group. The solution is developed on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform and intended for automation of the transport-forwarding companies.

When choosing the platform for automation the possibility of creation of a management system for all divisions of the enterprise, including the remote companies and branches was key criterion.

The created solution should support operational accounting, including provide the statement of requests, creation of runs, planning and control of transportations, creation and registration of accompanying documents. Besides, it should include means for planning and control of execution of plans and also for viewing results of activity both separate divisions, and the company in general.

As a result the customer received a system which allows to automate work of the operations sections of the company located at the Moscow office. All activity is conducted in a system in real time. The developed technique of formation of key performance indicators allows to carry out the analysis of quality of activity of the company on each section of process of transportation.

A system allows to create different delivery options of loads on requests of clients with a possibility of the automated calculation of cost of services in different rates; organize and control transportation of goods according to different schemes, including from a warehouse to a warehouse and from a door to a door; plan and control unloading and loading of loads on intermediate points or warehouses; calculate scheduled arrival time and departure of vehicles according to standard schedules; obtain information on the actual loading and finding of vehicles at any moment; create transport and accompanying documents; consider and carry the costs which arose at transportation accomplishment as on the vehicle in general, and directly on loads.

Upon termination of works on implementing solution in RLS-Moskva company it is going to replicate it in other divisions of group. The created replicaiton engine will allow to receive in the future the consolidated statements on all group in more short time that considerably will increase efficiency of acceptance of strategic decisions.
