AIPS "Weapon of the Ministry of Internal Affairs"

According to requirements of accounting of the civil, office and military weapon coming on arms to divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation manufactured in the Russian Federation and imported from abroad by request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation the system of computer-assisted retrieval - (AIPS - the automated information retrieval system) Weapon of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is developed.

Account of each unit of weapon is kept with history logging of its movement from the moment of production or import to the country before utilization or export abroad. Control of the movement of weapon is exercised on several lines of accounting:

  • license and allowing,
  • manufacturing plants of weapon,
  • logistics of the law-enforcement bodies (LEB),
  • Main command of internal troops,
  • The Departments of Internal Affairs on transport,
  • Department of sensitive sites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Principal components of a system

  • The distributed industrial transaction database.
  • Distributed database of the normative reference information.
  • Communication links.
  • Subsystem of input and processing of primary documents.
  • Subsystem of conversion of historical primary documents.
  • Subsystem of remote queries.
  • Reporting subsystem.
  • Administration subsystem.

The distributed industrial transaction database and distributed database of the normative reference information are implemented in the form of relational databases under control of Oracle DBMS. The business logic is implemented using procedures in the PL/SQL language.

Client places are created on the basis of Oracle application of Developer 6i. For creation of not regulated requests and reports Oracle Discoverer 9.02 focused on specialists of data domain was used. The uniform interchange format on the basis of XML files is developed for data exchange between different automation objects.
