The new camera is equipped with a lens of 3.3-12 mm, the detector of the movement, an audio-input and output and can receive a power supply from a source of 12 V of a direct current or on SWARM technology.

As noted, Cisco 2621V has the aluminum body and a strong dome from polycarbonate which protect the chamber block from mechanical damages and unauthorized access therefore the surveillance camera will be most effective for video filming in premises with increased requirements on protection against vandals. Optimum 3-axial fastening of chamber block 340 °/60 °/20 °, and a viewing angle from 90 ° up to 24 ° — the built-in lens with a range of focal distances of 3.3-12 mm and an autodiaphragm with DC management allows to configure the sector of video surveillance.

The hardware platform of the camera Cisco 2621V includes the corporate processor and the 1/3-inch CMOS sensor with non-interlaced scan and high dynamic range (WDR) which maximum value reaches 120 dB. Thanks to it the surveillance camera creates the qualitative image under different conditions of illumination on an object including at a background or counter flare. Due to existence of the mobile IK-filter the camera provides video surveillance in the day/night modes and broadcasts color/black-and-white video at illumination to 0.65/0.08 lx. At the same time switching of the modes is performed automatically or manually.

For increase in system effectiveness of video surveillance of Cisco 2621V it is capable to transfer on network one or two of a video flow which settings are configured individually. At the same time one-stream the video camera of video surveillance can broadcast in the H.264, MPEG-4 or M-JPEG formats with the permission to Full D1 (720x576 px.) at a speed of 25 fps, and two video flows at the same time — with permission of 4CIF at the frame rate of 25 fps. Moreover, this surveillance camera has audio an input and output and provides audio delivery, synchronized with a video series.

For detection of activities in a frame the camera uses the hardware detector of the movement which allows to select under review up to 4 separate zones and to set for everyone the level to sensitivity. At detection of activity in a frame the surveillance camera can notify the operator, having sent the message on its e-mail, to load disturbing video on FTP and HTTP or to activate different actuators through disturbing exits. Besides, Cisco 2621V gives additional opportunities of marking of video in real time: imposing on the image of time, date and/or the text.

Along with external protection, Cisco 2621V ensures high safety of video data by their transfer on network. The new IP camera limits unauthorized access to video by authentication of users. Due to support of the Multicast application this surveillance camera can send to video to the target list of addressees whose number is not limited. At the same time the technology of broadcasting does not require bilateral connection and attraction of additional network resources that reduces load of the server and provides additional opportunities for security video surveillance.

To configure IP cameras on network and to manage their video flows it is possible from any web browser or via the software interfaces Cisco Video Surveillance Manager. The module Media Server for work with video data, the module Operations Manager for a configuration of all sources in a system and the module Virtual Matrix performing functions of the virtual cross-point switch is a part of CVSM.
