Kaspersky Lab signed the agreement on cooperation with the government of Zabaykalsky Krai

Kaspersky Lab announces conclusion of an agreement about cooperation in the field of information security with the government Zabaykalsky Krai.

The agreement was signed by the governor of Zabaykalsky Krai Ravil Geniatulin and CEO "Laboratories Kaspersky" Evgeny Kaspersky.

Main objective of the document is increase in the overall level of informatization edges for ensuring social and economic development of the region. Joint efforts of the parties will be directed to development of regulations, the politician and methodical recommendations in the field of information security and creation of conditions for formation of an end-to-end system of protection confidential information of the state and municipal bodies authorities of the region. In addition agreement parties intend to render support to the regional projects focused on informing representatives of business and the organizations about technology means of protecting information.

The agreement also provides participation "Laboratories Kaspersky" in implementation of plans for increase in level knowledge of pupils of average and higher educational institutions about current trends and technologies of providing IT security. In particulars, within the educational program "Academy Kaspersky" on April 19 the company will spend Day information security for students of universities of Chita based on Transbaikal state humanitarian and pedagogical university to them. N.G. Chernyshevsky and also educational seminars for teachers information sciences of the Chita schools.
