The Directum system is implemented in Belgeodeziya

The implementation project of an electronic document management system and interaction management of DIRECTUM in RUP "Belgeodeziya" – leading enterprise of Belarus in production of land, cartographic and land management works came to the end.

The distributed structure of the company (divisions of the enterprise work in Minsk, Polotsk and Gomel) and also use of modern satellite and digital technologies allow in a short time and to perform on the affordable prices not only cartographic and land works, but also to create geographic information systems of any appointment. It is reached, including, at the expense of the competent organization of business processes of RUP "Belgeodeziya" and use of modern IT developments in enterprise management.

Rates of business development of RUP of Belgeodeziya require implementation of qualitatively new technologies of management. Therefore, within general strategy on creation of unified corporate information environment, the decision on implementation at the enterprise of an ECM system was made. As the platform the DIRECTUM system provided to Novacom LLC – the Authorized partner of DIRECTUM company was selected from Republic of Belarus. The choice of the solution was caused by an optimal ratio of functionality and cost of a system and rich project experience of specialists of Novacom company.

Test operation of DIRECTUM for the most complete conformity assessment of a system to business processes of the enterprise was carried out to the period from April to July, 2010 in RUP "Belgeodeziya". During test operation Basic system modules and modules Office, "Citizens' appeal and the organizations" were unrolled, Contract management and Management of meetings, training of administrators and key users of an ECM system is provided and also in an operating mode trial operation is performed. From Novacom LLC the necessary regulating documents and instructions were developed for the most effective work with a system. Based on test operation, the management of RUP "Belgeodeziya" made the decision on implementation of DIRECTUM as a basis for creation of a system of interaction of scale of all enterprise.

The full-scale implementation project of DIRECTUM in Belgeodeziya started at the end of fall of 2010, then delivery and setup of a system was performed, certification of administrators and users of an ECM system in the Center of the certified training of DIRECTUM of Novacom company is organized.

Now the DIRECTUM system in RUP "Belgeodeziya" works in the mode of commercial operation. In a system about 100 users are registered, all processes of registration of entering - outgoing letters and control of execution of documents are completely covered. The Novacom company performs necessary consulting and technical support. In the long term increase in quantity of jobs of a system in the organizations, implementation of the new modules DIRECTUM and a scope of new business processes, transition to legally significant electronic document management using the electronic digital signature and the certified information security system is expected.
