The I-Teco company completed a pilot project of implementation of a technology platform of informational portals in the Moscow City Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (MCCMIF).
Task
The Moscow City Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (MCCMIF) needed to automate accounting of expenditure of insurance means in city clinics for the provided medical care on compulsory health insurance.
For the solution of a task it is necessary to unroll in treatment and prevention facilities of Moscow a hardware-software complex which will allow doctors and other staff of health facilities to collect data on the services rendered to patients for the subsequent transfer to SMO and Moscow City Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund.
Solution
During a pilot project in 10 treatment and prevention facilities of Moscow the standard solution for automation of accounting of providing medical services in the system of compulsory health insurance is deployed.
The I-Teco company which implemented own solution under a code name "A technology platform of informational portals" acted as the contractor.
Nuances
Use of "thin clients" of Sun Ray and the thought-over architecture of a hardware-software complex allowed to cut down operating expenses and solution maintenance, and use of technologies of wireless communication provided flexibility and scalability of the constructed infrastructure of the user jobs.
Authentication of users of a system (the staff of health facilities) and patients is made on smart cards, at the same time the function the booth mode implemented in "thin clients" of Sun Ray allows to work if necessary with the application without authentication passing. Possibilities of a full-fledged work with documents, including their output to printing are provided to all users of a system. Heads, in addition to it, received the additional tool for control of work of the employees, report generation, plans and so forth.
Results
The implemented solution provides to Moscow City Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund required functionality at the high level of reliability, fault tolerance and simultaneous minimization of total cost of ownership (TCO) and completely meets needs of the customer on scalability both a server part, and jobs.
