JSC Klimov will implement an interactive system of an after-sale service of helicopter engines

In April, 2011 on JSC Klimov another quarter conference on the project of repair, re-equipment and also maintenance of operation of helicopter engines completed the work. Representatives of aircraft repair plants participated in a conference.

Within discussion specialists of the JSC Klimov enterprise presented the new program of an after-sale service of the aircraft equipment meeting the modern service requirements. This system created based on the MRO IFS Application program will allow to increase efficiency of work with partners of the enterprise and also will reduce holding time and repair of products. Besides, the organization of a hi-tech after-sale service based on the St. Petersburg plant will allow the enterprises of the aviation industry to refuse service of the units made by the foreign enterprises and will give a new impulse to development of all domestic aviation industry.

According to the results of a conference the decision on implementation of an interactive system of an after-sale service of engines based on the MRO IFS Application program was made.

At the beginning of 2012 the working group of specialists of IFS Russia&CIS and JSC Klimov developed a prototype of the solution in which on real data of a copy of the TV3-117 engine undergoing major repair at the enterprise all cycle of transactions is fulfilled from the moment of receipt of a request from the customer before return of a product to it after execution of works. A system includes, in particular, scenarios of business processes of signing of the contract, acceptance of the engine in repair, execution of works, the cost accounting on repair of a specific copy, requirements planning in spare parts, pricing of repair of the engine.

In the same time specialists of JSC Klimov prepared data on the park of copies of the TV3-117 engines operated by customers for loading in a system. In the nearest future these data will be transferred to IFS Applications. Then transition of a system to pilot, and then commercial operation is planned.

In plans of JSC Klimov - providing access to a system to specialists of airlines, manufacturers of helicopters and the aircraft repair plants for the organization of interaction with consumers of products made by the enterprise – engines and spare parts – and services in its after-sale service. In particular, the company will provide access to the partners to relevant operational documentation, the bulletins issued on engines. In addition to a design of requests for repair of engines of JSC Klimov will have an opportunity to quickly create requests for acquisition of spare parts and to monitor process of their execution.
