Implementation "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse" in Lipetskpivo

The growing demand causes annual increase in volumes of products which are turned out by Lipetskpivo Ltd. In 2010 the company management within global upgrade of production made the decision on need of improvement of warehouse logistics and initiated implementation of a specialized warehouse management system – WMS.

Long experience with programs on the 1C: Enterprise platform, positive reviews of users, modern functionality and available cost became basic reasons of the choice "to 1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" as base for automation of a finished goods warehouse. By search of the contractor of the project the management of Lipetskpivo Ltd first of all paid attention to existence of sufficient experience in automation of warehouses of food of goods and drinks. As a result preference was given to AXELOT company whose examination was confirmed a set of favorable recommendations from the clients who are engaged in production and storage of food products.

The warehouse of Lipetskpivo Ltd is located in one building with production workshops and occupies the space in 5000 sq.m.; in a warehouse floor storage of 80 names of goods – drinks in kega and plastic bottles is organized. In August, 2010, having completed preliminary survey of warehouse processes, specialists of AXELOT together with customer representatives started preparation and accomplishment of implementation. In 7 months of works the conceptual design of WMS was created, corresponding changes to a standard configuration "1C Logistics are made: Management of warehouse 3.0", is made pre-launch testing of the model of a system at the stand deployed by the Customer (with involvement of key staff of the Customer), data exchange with the corporate information system (CIS) "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" is configured, user training is provided, are executed start in operation and primary support of WMS.

In a project deliverable all main warehouse transactions – acceptance, placement, selection, shipment, feed and inventory are automated; 10 radio data collection terminals of Motorola of VC 5090 are connected, functioning of operators from 2 stationary jobs is ensured.

At development of the system of management of a warehouse characteristics of the organization of business processes in Lipetskpivo Ltd were considered. In particular, the possibility of automatic change of the orders for shipment which already came to a warehouse system after entering of adjustments into them into CIS is implemented. Also, for performance improvement of work of warehouse personnel, the algorithm of automatic distribution and sending tasks for radio data collection terminals is created: tasks are issued in order of priority to the first released contractor.
