The I-Teco company completed the project on creation of universal base of configuration elements of the East Siberian bank SCRF. In a work progress the system which became a versatile tool for tracking of all IT elements and communications between them throughout lifecycle was created.
The east Siberian bank, being one of leaders in the system of Sberbank of Russia and in regional financial market, constantly expands a range of the rendered services and raises the quality level, speeds and reliability of providing services. With respect thereto requirements to IT infrastructure of bank, the continuity of functioning of its elements grow. For the purpose of minimization of idle time of the business processes arising because of failures in work of information systems in 2010 by the bank made the decision on implementation of the configuration management database (CMDB) which represents a uniform view of IT infrastructure, allows to control changes in it and to accurately define an origin of incidents.
The solution was constructed based on software of HP Universal CMDB – implementation of the central repository of elements of IT infrastructure. By a number of parameters it has no analogs in the market today. In addition to technical features, like automatic detailed detection of devices and applications from very wide list of vendors, the solution has the developed integration mechanisms.
In view of geographical remoteness of bank the most part of works was carried out at office "I-Teco". On the platform to the customer consultants of the company went with ready results and implemented them on site. "Within the project we implemented autodetection by the UCMDB system more than hundred servers of bank that allowed to refuse routine data entry. Besides, all information on the equipment is automatically updated if in infrastructure there are any changes. It allows to have always a relevant truthful picture of the set IT segment. The solution was integrated with the Service Desk system of the customer: incidents of SD become attached to "live", to the infrastructure IT real elements that considerably increases transparency of activity of IT service", – the project manager from I-Teco Ilya Kiselyov noted.

In particular, thanks to visualization of all interrelations between infrastructure facilities, became possible quickly to define and solve this or that incident. It considerably reduced risks of interruption of business processes of bank.
