The Axelot company announced creation of a single system of management of the normative reference information for Group "Walk about", the national agroholding integrating three industry directions — sugar, agricultural and grain and also division on interaction with retail networks.
At the end of 2010 the management of agroholding the decision on implementation of an automated system of collecting and consolidation of the management reporting which would provide, including, a possibility of the analysis of a remaining balance of the material resources (MR) in warehouses and debts of partners in general on holding was pleasant. However consolidation of the reports arriving more than from 100 divisions of holding requires unity of the normative reference information (NRI); reference books of "MTR" and Partners in each separate enterprise of Group "Walk about" differed both in contents, and approaches to filling. For unification NSI should have carried out primary normalization of content of reference books and to regulate procedures of further work with them, says Axelot.
To cope with these tasks most effectively, in agroholding "Walk about" the decision to use the specialized tool — the NSI automated control system was made. The complex of the works directed to control automation of NSI consisted of 5 main stages: creations of methodology of normalization and maintaining single system of NSI (EU NSI); formations of technical specifications on integration "1C:MDM Management of the normative reference information" with the systems "1C: Accounting 7.7" (two types of a configuration) both specialized management systems for treasury and consolidation of the reporting; NSI ACS installations, settings of document flow and integration mechanisms, training; primary normalization of reference books of "MTR" and Partners; trial operation of a system.
According to Axelot, the customer's specialists actively participated in the project: in particular, experts of Group "Walk about" also Partners were involved in carrying out normalization of content of reference books of "MTR". They executed directly processing of the data which are contained in reference books whereas control functions were assigned to a project team of Axelot. Such approach allowed to optimize terms of works without damage to their quality.
For the final stage of trial operation forces of project teams of the customer and contractor prepared the documents "Methodology of Normalization and Maintaining EU NSI", "Regulations of Maintaining EU NSI", in 130 workplaces the NSI automated control system based on the software product "1C:MDM Management of NSI" is installed, training of key staff of the customer is organized, primary normalization of reference books is executed, acceptance tests are carried out.
