The project on upgrade of a directory service of the Active Directory at Baltika Baku brewery

The Baltika company together with Digital Design completed the project on upgrade of a directory service of the Active Directory at Baltika Baku brewery to Hyrdylane, Azerbaijan. As a result of works the platform joined the updated IT infrastructure largest brewery in Russia.

Within the project specialists of Digital Design executed migration of a directory service of the separate domain which is at the plant in Hyrdylana in uniform service of the Active Directory directory of Baltika company. More than 80 users and 6 servers are transferred to the new domain. Management of a directory service is conducted by means of the Quest ActiveRoles Server software product. Upgrade of a directory service allowed to reduce time of making changes and to raise the system security level. Also experts of the company carried out setup of work and connection to the general architecture of the following services: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007, Windows Server Update Services 3.0, Quest Software Active Roles 6.5, Kaspersky Adminisration Kit 8.0.

This project was implemented within the translation of separate domains of our branches in uniform service of the Active Directory directory. Now forces of our specialists and staff of Digital Design carry out migration in the headquarters in St. Petersburg and on all platforms in Russia and Azerbaijan is, in total, about 5,000 users".

Earlier Baltika using Digital Design implemented the unique project on integration of six management systems for IT infrastructure components with a monitoring system based on Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and service Service Desk and also the project on creation of a monitoring system based on Microsoft System Center Operations Manager which became the winner of competition of partner solutions of Microsoft in Central and Eastern Europe in 2009.
