Insystems: Security module

The solution of physical protection of the IT equipment "Security Module" is intended for physical protection of the server hardware against the fire, flooding, natural disasters, purposeful or accidental acts of man.

Within projects INSYSTEMS on security of data processing centers modular constructions of foreign production were used until recently, but with all their advantages they saved one essential shortcoming – high cost. Therefore INSYSTEMS developed and implemented the original construction of the protective premises with the technical characteristics which are not conceding to foreign analogs but exceeding them on economic indicators in production. The solution is certified on compliance to standards on physical protection: "Security module" conforms to requirements for protection of the premises (a class of protection R60D, GOST P52919-2008), for fire resistance of construction (a class of protection of REI 90, GOST 30247.0-94) and for water tightness (a class of protection IPx5, GOST 14254-96). Compliance to requirements is confirmed with specialized certification body "Pozhpolisert" after carrying out necessary tests.

The product is developed using advanced technologies and is issued on production base of the company "MCM Limited", one of the Russian leaders in the fireproof systems and materials.

CEO of INSYSTEMS Ltd Virtser Evgeny: ""Security module" was tested in rather severe conditions, especially regarding fire safety. An inspection on fire resistance was carried out in the furnace where continuous temperature at the level of 1000-1100 degrees Celsius is created. Our "Module of security" in such conditions showed 90-minute fire resistance, but, the main thing, at the same time for an hour indoor temperature did not rise higher than 50 degrees, and the humidity remained at the level of 75%. Under such temperature and moist conditions the safety of the IT equipment and information media is guaranteed. Unlike foreign analogs, construction installation of "Security module" is made in the conditions of limited access to outside surfaces, almost closely to walls and a ceiling of the protected premises. It allows to use effectively the volume of the premises and if necessary to make installation, without stopping operation of the IT equipment which is in it".
