The Vue 9.5 tools available in the form of products Vue xStream and Vue Infinite, suggest users to estimate new interactive means of texture stage, enhanced capabilities of control of movement of three-dimensional clouds, more realistic lighting when modeling the atmospheric phenomena, hardware accelerated smoothing and some other improvements.

The Vue xStream and Vue Infinite tool kits can be used for modeling and rendering of three-dimensional landscapes, wildlife and the atmospheric phenomena and practically do not differ in functionality from each other. The difference between them is that Vue Infinite is the independent application, and Vue xStream represents a plug-in for the leading 3D platforms - modeling.

In new versions long-awaited support of file format MDD is implemented. The new Texture Manipulation Gizmo mechanism will simplify manipulations with the cards of textures imposed on frame model. The updated tools provide the increased performance of operations on generation and rendering of the realistic animated clouds. The new Cloud Restriction Zones mechanism executes more accurate control of behavior of cloud arrays.

The list of innovations includes the new hybrid 2.5D-algorithms allowing to visualize effects of depth of field four times faster than in the previous versions. Vue xStream and Vue Infinite differ in support of 3D models with separate UV layers and the configured Star Map cards. Users also should estimate the improved tools for drawing and some other interesting improvements.

Vue 10

One of the most important innovations of Vue are comprehensive tools for fast creation of ecosystems and landscapes. Algorithms of automatic search of a way (Path Finding) simplify modeling of roads on the land surface. The new template library of rocks allows to build in the certain rocks or mountain chains consisting of fragments unlike at each other ecosystems. The new Water Shading Engine driver is capable to model realistic absorption and light refraction, passing through thickness of water. The new Strata3D component is intended for modeling of multilayer rocky educations, such as walls of canyons, and the Brush 3D Terrain Custom tool offers an opportunity of accurate texture stage of materials.

Users of Vue 10 will be able to integrate and compare results of a render of three-dimensional scenes and also to use the HDR Difference Tool tool for more careful analysis. For experiments with special effects the facilitated "clones" of the visualized scenes allowing to do without modification of the original are provided.

Vue 10 offers the improved smoothing mechanisms, more realistic effects of depth of field and "greasings" of the picture at the movement and also 30% increase in speed of a render. The products Vue Infinite and Vue xStream focused on specialists in visual effects, the packets of Vue Esprit, Studio and Complete for artists and designers addressed to beginning users and fans of the Vue Pioneer application 3D Superhero will be a part of a line of Vue 10 and Frontier.

The number of products for enthusiasts 3D - modeling, released under the name of Cornucopia 3D, includes also a packet of Vue 3D Superhero and Vue 10 Frontier. The first packet is positioned as the tool for young artists who though to create own works in style of comics with active use of ready figures and models. The illustrated textbook on 120 pages and the free version of Vue Pioneer SE which allows to create ready 3D - images without watermarks announcing use of a free product also is a part of Vue 3D Superhero. Besides, Vue 3D Superhero can be expanded using add-on paid modules which allow to complete a full range of applications, equivalent Vue Complete.

The packet of Vue Frontier contains a set of expansion units to a packet of Vue Pioneer and also offers generation of digital landscapes and a possibility of rendering of own characters including created using packets of Poser or Daz Studio. Also the special module for optimization of an integument of characters is a part of a product that allows to adapt easily appearance of characters to their environment in virtual environment.

For professional 3D - artists the Vue 10 Complete series includes two separate products at once: Vue 10 Esprit and Vue 10 Studio. In version 10 for the first time there were tools for work with splines and roads, dynamic rocks, water with simulation of physical properties and transparency and also the improved editing a landscape and more productive rendering. The integrated module Strata3D ensures functioning with nodes, cyclic noise and fractals, consolidation and comparison of results of rendering in different layers, smoothing of images of objects at the edges, phase control and also control of an exit of objects for the set borders for ecosystems. The set of aspect ratios of a frame for the virtual camera is in addition supported.
