The Oracle corporation announced in May, 2011 release of the new version of Oracle Real User Experience Insight which offers updating of opportunities of the software package Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g for application performance management (Application Performance Management).

In the new version industry-first integration between Oracle Real User Experience Insight and recently announced module of management of business transactions of Business Transaction Management as a part of Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g is implemented that allows the companies to gain a better understanding both about the level of satisfaction of end users, and about accomplishment of transactions.

Now IT services and business divisions will be able to monitor with ease actions of end users in different applications – from the moment when the user starts business transaction, till the moment when it completes it. It helps to reveal and fix quickly problems before they become critical or will begin to have an adverse effect on business.

The new version also allows the companies to reduce considerably influence of performance concerns at the expense of much faster notification about a status of key performance indicators (KPI) – the gain in time reaches 80%, from five minutes to one minute.

The Oracle Real User Experience Insight expansions are a component of the software packages Oracle Application Management Suites for Oracle Siebel CRM, Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, giving unique, specific opportunities for acceleration of deployment and updating of applications to each application.

Oracle Real User Experience Insight allows the enterprises to increase as much as possible return from crucial business applications, providing the broad picture of work of end users with these applications.

Oracle Real User Experience Insight 11g Release 1 provides the increased convenience and ease of use by means of management information panels (dashboards), available to external visual control, and also through the simplified search of sessions of end users, simpler administration and the improved readiness.

Key features:

  • Unique opportunity of formation of exhaustive idea of business transactions. Integration allows to connect quality of work of users with efficiency of the corresponding transactions with management tools business transactions of Oracle Business Transaction Management. This solution is the first in own way complex instrument of monitoring of quality of work of users of applications and managements of a middleware.
  • The improved performance and readiness. The Oracle Real User Experience Insight components can be configured for the active/passive scheme of ensuring fault tolerance, centralizovanngo configuration management of these components and modes of the increased reliability and performance of big dashboards.
  • Tracking of traffic of a network content delivery infrastructure (Content Delivery Network, CDN). Provides preparation of the reporting under the results of the geographical analysis of traffic requested by CDN; it is used for transparent creation of "mirror images" of content with the purpose to improve the local speed of loading for the global websites.
  • The improved support of Web services. Allows Oracle Real User Experience Insight to approve and interconnect better business performance indicators (for example, data on products, including the price) with technical and operational indicators (for example, the response time and situations connected with emergence of an error). It is performed using a full functional range of XPath library for identification of specific data from web service requests. This opportunity is already available to Web pages based on the http (s) protocol.
  • The profound analysis of the messages generated by applications. Sets separate categories of messages according to their contents. Business users can receive the overview of messages of the applications received by end users, and this overview does not influence the technical report about errors of applications in any way.
  • Expanded export of data through SQL. Business users can integrate data of Oracle Real User Experience Insight with information on customer interaction in different channels.
  • Accelerator for banking systems of Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking and Oracle FLEXCUBE Direct Banking. Creates idea of quality of work of end users of software products of FLEXCUBE on customer service, safe and crucial for business.
